My Story

Britt Frank, MSW, LSCSW, SEP, is a trauma-focused clinician, educator, and speaker. She holds a Bachelor’s degree from Duke University and earned her Master’s in Social Work from the University of Kansas, where she also serves as an award-winning adjunct faculty member. With deep expertise in emotional wellness and mental health, Britt is widely known for her engaging talks and writings that help people understand the brain, navigate trauma, and move from feeling stuck to empowered.

Britt Frank is on a mission to help people bridge the often-frustrating gap between the lives they’re living and the ones they long for. Her work goes beyond productivity hacks or stress management — it’s about reclaiming joy, finding clarity, and creating meaningful change.

Before becoming a psychotherapist and trauma expert, Britt’s life was in turmoil. On paper, she had impressive credentials: a Duke degree, a strong résumé. But internally, she was overwhelmed — trapped in toxic relationships, burnout, and self-destructive patterns. Her “aha” moment came in a grim bathroom at 5 a.m., when a quiet inner voice urged her to change. She just didn’t know how.

Determined to understand her own chaotic mind, she immersed herself in the science of the brain. What started as personal research led to psychotherapy, graduate school, and eventually a career teaching others. Along the way, Britt discovered that the most complex aspects of neuroscience and trauma could be broken down into simple, actionable tools — tools that transformed her life and now transform others'.

Today, Britt shares these insights through keynotes, writing, and her book. Her message is simple: healing is possible, clarity is real, and being “stuck” doesn’t mean you’re broken — it means your brain is doing its job. Change isn’t easy, but it isn’t complicated either.
