Simon Nicolaas-Relationship Coach
Simon Nicolaas didn’t always have the clarity and connection he has today. For a long time, he was caught in a cycle of people-pleasing, terrified of rejection and unsure of how to be fully himself. Love and validation felt like oxygen—something he constantly chased, hoping it would fill the emptiness he carried. But every time he found what he thought he was looking for, he’d end up pulling away, convinced something was wrong with the other person.
My Story
Simon Nicolaas didn’t always have the clarity and connection he has today. For a long time, he was caught in a cycle of people-pleasing, terrified of rejection and unsure of how to be fully himself. Love and validation felt like oxygen—something he constantly chased, hoping it would fill the emptiness he carried. But every time he found what he thought he was looking for, he’d end up pulling away, convinced something was wrong with the other person. The pattern repeated: one relationship after another, the same unresolved issues showing up in different forms.
But that’s no longer the life he lives.
Through the guidance of powerful coaches and deep personal work, Simon has learned how to communicate through conflict with clarity and heart. He doesn’t claim perfection—he doesn’t use the tools every time—but he consciously chooses love over fear, over and over again. That choice has changed his life.
Today, Simon is happily married and deeply grateful for his wife and their infant son—something he knows wouldn’t have been possible had he remained stuck in his old patterns. His relationship with his mother has transformed too, from one built on anger and resentment to one grounded in understanding and connection. And perhaps most unexpectedly, before his father passed away, Simon found the peace and forgiveness he never thought he’d have.
This is just part of what’s possible through the Love or Fear program—because relationship coaching isn’t really about “fixing” others. It begins with your relationship to yourself. From there, everything shifts.
I
n a world full of noise, mixed messages, and unhealthy examples, many of us were simply never taught what a real, healthy relationship looks like. Simon’s work is about filling that gap—offering tools, clarity, and support to help people build the kind of love that starts from within and ripples outward.
